I too am curious about what the cause turned out to be. Please update us.

And, to clarify, did this noise only show up AFTER you installed the BK harness bar? Could it just be the bar or bar-mounts squeaking over bumps as the chassis flexes? (mine do that a little)

Quick answer - I haven't figured it out yet.

The noise was there before I installed the BK bar and remained after I installed it. I was careful to torque all the fasteners when I installed the bar. I checked all the interior fittings thoroughly last weekend and found nothing loose. Have not yet had time to crawl under the car and check exterior fittings.

Will post again if/when I learn more.
