It used to be all you could get when I grew up in Texas. And we liked it that way!
When I go back now to visit, people talk about sweet tea like it is the state drink and it has always been around. Nonsense! I feel like I'm in Georgia...

Exactly. I hate it when they call it "Un"sweet. Like it was sweet but they filtered out the sugar. It's just Tea. You don't have "un"sweet coffee.
My other bugaboo is when the waiter says, "How are we doing". I would have to know how he is to answer that question.

I have a long list of pet peeves like that...
The "unsweet tea" descriptor is similar to saying "ice hockey" or asking for a "hard shell taco". These things don't exist. They are known as "hockey" and a "taco". Any deviations from these established norms are simply not right...

But while hard shell tacos are OK, I prefer soft tacos.
Real Mexican tacos are soft, not hard.
....Oh, thread derailed again.......

Nice. I agree on real Mexican tacos. Two soft corn tortillas! In Texas though, a taco has a hard shell.

I guess things change...
In any case, I think tacos are good with flour tortillas, corn tortillas or hard shell corn tortillas. I'm hungry now...
