Default Sold the 996

For the first time since February 2001, I am without a Porsche.
I hated to sell, but the recession has taken it's toll on my business (residential construction).

However, I definitely plan to get back in once the economy recovers.

My 996 was an incredibly good car, but I suspect a 997 Cab might be next in my garage.

996's rock!

Hang in there.

Just think of it as being "between Porsches."

Thanks for the sentiments, everyone.
I will definitely have another Pcar in the not too distant future.
There's just nothing else out there like the 911.

Business is so bad that you're getting rid of your 996... for a 997. Wish my business was as "bad". I kid, I kid...

LOL. Unfortunately there will probably be 12-18 months between the two....
I'm looking for a used late model GTI as a weekend runner for the interim.

Hey, Tim, yeh I thought about you...... I figured if you could handle selling, I could too!
But, I had this car for 5-1/2 years, so it was time for something different anyway.
I just hated to sell it because it was such a good car, and performed so well.
I don't feel bad about it though. I do feel for Andy and his wife.
