While seeking revenge is awfully tempting, it's probably better to let it go and fuggetaboutit. Pawn shops always seem to attact the seedy crowd. Maybe the cheapest lesson learned...

Guess just ordering a V1 might have been cheaper in the long run.

This is why I put our inventory online. http://pawnxchange.com We have 37 locations. The V1 is pretty rare but I picked up my X50 with the blue leds for under $100.

Hah. No sorry. You can delete if that's not allowed. We are only in WA and AZ anyway. That's the tool I use when I am trying to find something in our stores. In this economy it doesn't hurt to find a deal. It can be fun to just go in and browse as you never know what you are going to find. Every store is different. Sounds like Pawn America could treat their customers a little better.

We actually had one of our managers pull this. We had a corporate retreat and several of us carpooled and parked our cars in the store parking lot on a Friday night. The manager didn't get wind of this and the cars were gone when we got back on Sunday night. The parking lot was shared with a Schucks and she thought that the cars were left there from their customers. Amazing she wasn't "let go".

Not just pawn shops. In College Station, TX, there's a Starbucks on University Ave. with a parking lot behind it. Across the street is a church that owns the parking lot. The lot is marked church parking only. Against my advice, my wife parked there one time and ran into Starbucks to get a latte. When she came out, she had to fork over $75 to a tow truck driver who had her car all hitched up and ready to tow. The guy gave her a receipt. I called the chruch admin office later that week and asked if I could put the $75 down as a charitable contribution.

It was the only time in 31 years that she didn't do exactly as I advised. I hope she learned her lesson.
