I wrote up my story in the, "It happened to me today" thread.
2000 996 6 spd, Arctic Silver on Boxster Red and black top, with aero package, Mille Miglia exhaust, lowered, one off Andreas Design tail (OEM replica) and GT3 Wheels.
This is my 40th birthday present and I love it. The exhaust note is so fantastic my 12 year old says that when we accelerate and the sound reverberates off a building or car, "I smile so big I have to laugh." Good times...

These are the, "for sale" pictures so the Audi is not mine, but I like it too. I had some reservations about the headlight covers, but I have to say I think they look great in person.
Thanks for the compliments.

Nice cab. I'm another Bimmerhead convert here. Came from a great experience with an E36 that I autocrossed and did DE's with. I loved that car and miss it on occasion but the 996 is just so much more involving and fun to drive.
I still love the older lighter Bimmers but have not looked back since. One of these days though, I will add an E30 M3 to my stable.
Welcome to Rennlist,

Yep, I had an e36 M3 coupe and then I bought a sedan and would certainly entertain an e30. I had my e36's for about 9 years and really just needed a change. I've only had a couple days with the P-car because I had to go on travel right away, but the 1100 mile trek home from VT to Charleston and the day and a half at home was a blast.
