Would pinstripes look good on a 996?

Pinstripes are OK for augmenting the existing lines of car's shape. But on a 911, the existing lines are already more beautiful on their own, so I think that pinstripes actually detract from what is already there.

Racing stripes, on the other hand, look quite natural on a 911.

What are you thinking??? Go buy some new WHEELS or something for a fresh look, but the pinstripes are not right for any Porsche.

Sad to say mine had beige painted pinstripes on it when I bought it(used). It gets worse. The original owner had his initials painted inside of little Porsche crests on the door. Had to send it to the body shop to get them wet sanded out.
