Finally! Picked up my first Porsche!
Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the help with picking out out my Porsche. After MUCH looking, reading, learning, deliberating, discussing, oooing, ahhhing, pausing, praying, and finally deciding, I'm now the proud owner of my first Porsche! And it has quickly become my most favorite car I've ever had. I LOVE this car! So fun to drive, and get's lots of attention (which I need to get used to!)
It's a 2001 C4 with factory aero kit, 49k miles, some decent options, and SUPER clean. The only thing missing is the new car smell. And I can buy that.
So here are some picts to share of my new ride.
Thanks again everyone! I'll be a frequent player on this board, hopefully. Mostly learning and asking at first, but hopefully able to help more folks as I learn more. Although, I've already popped out the alternator and replaced the voltage regulator due to a low 11V output when the engine was hot. New reg fixed it right up. Why is it that almost everything I own ends up having an electrical problem? Ironic that I'm an Electrical Engineer. Hmm, maybe all the machines just knowwwwww.

Beautiful car. Congratulations and welcome.
Can you really buy "new car smell?" Everything I have tried so far that is labelled to give new car smell does not do it for me.
