before buying Zimmerman, make sure you buy a set with the painted/coated rotor hats/centers, the unpainted ones rust really fast.

I didn't know that. So when you say they are an OEM supplier - do I take it that they supply lets say rotors for 996 C2 'as orginal' or do they make thousands of VW rotors as orignal equipment and the 996 rotor's as a 'replacement' part?

OEM - Porsche has Zimmerman supply them rotors like they have Brembo supply them calipers.
