Default Possible to Copy PCM CDs or Buy?

I have a client who just bought a MY02 C4S and wants a PCM CD for this region. I have mine - can I copy it?

NavTech doesn't sell them anymore. Any place else to buy?

Not sure about the copy(though with the right hackware I'm sure it is possible)...or you could contact sunset. I got my PCM2 update from them...PN 000-044-901-21.

I don't know about the Porsche CD's, but I used to make backup copies of the navigation DVDs that worked in a Corvette that I owned that had the OEM Nav System. I used Nero 7 (maybe Nero 6) and would just set the software up in the "copy disc" mode as if I were cloning a data disk.

If your friend knows someone with Nero, it's worth a try.

I know on a Mac you can do it with the disc image option in the disk utility program.

Copies work fine. I stored the original in a safe location and only use the copied disk in the PCM

Let us know if this works! Last time I tried a copy I put the copy into the slot and it would not read and would not eject. Some combination of power on/off and eject finally got it out, but I was spooked by then. Thanks!

Just make sure to select no encryption and also select DVD master.

I had made copies like Mickey and used only copies in the truck.
