brake pad recommendation please..
porsche sport pads or pagid blue with oem rotors?
dd with 2-3 track days a year. willing to put up with a little noise for increased braking ability for the track. will also add briaded lines and maybe motul 600.

I run the OEM pads still, but when I switch, i've heard very good things about the mintex reds for mostly street, the Hawk HPS for mostly street and a little DE type track work, and carbotech seems to have a lot of fans for just the track. The other option to consider is the hawk ceramic.
I would recommend running a search, there's a lot of writeups on this topic

There is no answer, just opinions. Mine:
For 2-3 track days/year, I'd just stay with stock. However If you really feel you must change pads, I'd go with either Hawk DTC60's or PFC97's. Put those in for the track days, and keep stock pads in for the street. Since you are not going to the track more than 2 to 3 days each year, swapping them out won't be a big deal. Bear in mind though that these track pads will likely overpower your street tires in braking zones.

And very little difference between Porsche sport pads and pagid blue.
Also, better pads won't give you "better braking ability". They will dissipate heat better, and thus prevent braking ability from being reduced. Upgrade for safety.

you can go either pagid blue or porsche sport pads.... I've used pagid yellow and though they are great they do overpower street tires in braking zones like mglobe states in his post... pagid yellow will complement braking behaviour of R compound tires like hoosiers and MPSC....
