Default storm damage

Last night a nasty storm dropped some very large hail onto my C4. Dents into my hood, front and back quarter panels, plus the roof and sunroof. The stones size was about an inch to an inch and a half and fell for 20 minutes.

It's a great time to be laid off right now .... oh yeah on the drive home today the brake wear sensor went off too.

So ... What is the best way to deal with this when it comes to the insurance company? Anyone been through this before?

Someone please send me some beer.

+1 on PDR. I have had amazing results from my favorite local PDR shop. The lower cost might mean that insurance would cover more of the bill than on the traditional body-shop route. My PDR guy uses a combination of internal pressure, when access is available, and a "pulling" technique where a rod it bonded (I think it is hot-melt glue) and the ding is pulled out. Then fine tuned. Good luck.

PDR works great - I had an UrS4 that got caught in a CO hail storm and it was severely damaged. After the repair you couldn't tell it had been hit. Need a beer? Make the drive up to Louisville - I keep a keg in my garage next to my P-car.

Paintless dent removal can be great, but won't work if there is damage on or very near creases near the edges of the hood or trunk. Can you post pics - we can get a better idea of the extent of the damage. Hail damage sucks big time. Good luck!

I was caught in a hail storm once. The hail put alot of chips in my windshield and dents in my hood and roof. Not the 996 though, however the insurance company pays for that repair.
