Default Anyone with spare fender "Pumpkin" lights?

Hello,

My state requires the OEM side/fender pumpkin lights. I have the clear on there now, which I plan on keeping.

Since most replace the pumpkins with the clears, I thought I would ask if anyone has a spare set of the pumpkin side lights (not the whole assembly, just the plastic reflector on each side) they may want to sell? PM me if so.

Thanks,
Todd

P.S. Right now, to get through inspection, I have a couple of self-adhesed Pep Boy specials on there! Stick about 2" off of the fender. You all would love it.

As long as your bulb flashes amber, I'm sure you'll be fine. I think its actually a US DOT requirement.

Thanks all.

DMV said the side light has to be reflective, which apparently the clear is not. They even said I could buy reflective tape at Pep Boys and that would be fine, so I don't think its the bulb that is the issue.

They also said that the state cut all salaries 2.5% this year, and the police are looking for the clear side markers (probably looking more so for on hondas, toyotas, not to be presumptive) for revenue.

The large reflective Pep Boys specials I have on there are a trip! I would probably be banned from Rennlist. But I finally got a "PASS" at DMV though!

So I am looking for a pair of pumpkins to buy. I also had to install the amber rear turn signal bulbs and rip off my side window tint (which I knew and did before going to the inspection lane). So $4 for the scraper (for the tint and glue) and $4 for the amber bulbs and $3 for the reflective side markers. OBDII was fine, so for $11 I passed inspection!

They tried to say I had "Rainbow Headlights," which are illegal too. But I objected to that, saying they were perfectly white headlights (I thought the old timer was crazy!). Then other DMV employees came over and agreed with me that they were white, so I got a pass on the headlights.

So now all legal!

Thanks,
Todd

Wonder if putting some 3M reflective tape under the clears would constitute "reflective"? The cool thing is that the 'silver' 3M tape is about the same color as the clears, so you would not even see it unless a headlight shone on it. Hmmmm...

Wow, I can't believe DE is cracking down that way. I have seen some reall POS drive through the inspection lanes thinking, "this should be good" only to see them breeze right through.

Glad your legal.

Todd,

Let me know if you still need some.

I just bought the clears and was ready to swap this weekend.
