OK enough fun for one day...I am a fan of Rennlist and 6speed (and Renntech). I think it is pathetic and childish to make fun of other forums. I have had folks in all three forums help me when I needed it. I have found offensive posts in those forums as well....that is the internet. Read what you want and stay away from what you don't...I'm out.

To me, 6-speed is a vendor's forum. Almost every post is from a sponsor trying to sell you on their new wheel line (new wheels! You asked for em, and we made em! Yeah, ok), plenums, software upgrades, reproduction seats, cold air intakes, etc, etc, etc. They have a separate forum within each car forum devoted to vendors, but the sponsors pretty much ignore that forum and still post their wares in every single car forum cause they know it gets more attention than the vendor forums that no one wants to visit cause they are sick of seeing advertisements. LOL. That being said, I do find some of their specialty forums interesting and useful.

i'm a member of the 6 and just joined this place recently, i still love the 6 but this place looked pretty cool and with a little less 'bling'

Ive met some pretty cool people at the 6.... and they are here as well.... the 996 is getting very affordable, so expect more of the younger crowd (remember Joey Carrera?).
The 6's 6TT forums is one of the best for performance modding IMO... but like anything else, you have to weed out the nonsense... After all, this is the internet.
