The assessments in this thread are very true from my experience on both boards. 6speed has a younger, more yuppieish crowd that love to make their "rides" "unique". Btw, I am not casting stones, I am 24, just have never been into the whole "tuner" scene.

 

Both are owned by IB now.

 

I have been registered on 6speed for 2 years, never made a post, but I do read their for sale section here and again since they sell a lot of their OEM stuff.

I like renntech for 996 technical, rennlist for the general 996 community

 

6speed mods lean towards cosmetic. Rennlist mods lean towards performance. Both have their merits.

I like how you take parts of multiple comments and use them to make a point...are you a politician?

My reason...rennlist 996TT gets about 5 new posts a day...6speed gets 5 new posts every 30 minutes. I consider this DATA to be a significant difference for an internet site which is measured by "hits"(as they all are) hence my conclusion.

I believe it is generalization when you make statements about age/orientation based on your opinion and speculation. (there are a number of excellent technical posts on the 6 fwiw)
