Nice job! I've been looking at the same for my AS cab... Your's is the fourth painted center console I've seen and I'm really liking that. Other than the gauge rings, is there anything else you're going to go aluminum on? Did you remove the gauge, or install the rings while it was in place?

That's probably it for the aluminum accents. For me, a couple of things here and there work, but too many pieces and you lose the subtleness. Having said that, the final touch I'm thinking is the aluminum trim for the strip below the airbag and above the glovebox. That piece actually follows across to the drivers side, with a couple of small trim pieces and kinda breaks up the black with that horizontal line. Just not sure yet? May look for more pics, first.
As for the gauge rings...I just did them in place. Real easy DYI. I followed some hints from fellow list members and used the clear silicone and just held in them place overnight, with blue painters tape. Just dry fit everything first, in case you need to trim a tad and I used a toothpick to apply the silicone inside the rings.
