I saw this one and it really struck me, plus I got a great deal, and it has Factory Aero (which I personally love and think is fairly uncommon), is Black, and has aweseome 19" Champion Wheels. Looks like the thing is "tubbed" from the rear (for the old hot rodders out there). I just really liked the look and the owner has been meticulous. Hopefully the pix will show up. Also has some $5000 stereo system, which I don't care much about, but I am sure I will enjoy. I hope the pictures show up.

This is my 2nd 911 (first an 83), so I figure this 99 should be a world of difference from the 83.

That is a spectacular looking car. Everything looks tastefully done except, ahem, the stereo.

 

Well, on the stereo, its supposed to be expense stuff; Eclipse, Rockford, etc?? (not my hobby, so I don't really know). Loud music actually annoys me in my old age (of 38 in November - I'm an old soul).

I always wanted a 911 and not a Cayman, etc. because my kid rides in the back when the family gets ice cream. So the seats will always be up so should not really be visible.

But here is a related question - I have read about battery trickle charges for batteries going dead in 911's, and this car has a professional amp and disc changer installed in the bonnet. Is there anything related to Porsche batteries dying out that I should be aware of? This car will probably sit until the weekends.

Uhhh...no. Red was right. Those are not champion. Not to take anything away from them as they're still a great looking wheel but they're a 1 piece cast wheel and not a forged multi-piece champion wheel.

There was a special on 6-speed when these were first released for right around $1200 as Red stated.
