Brake upgrade to GT-3 stuff

Its all about the costs... a few options out there for bigger setup. Anymore details regarding what is included in your setup?... calipers, rotors, adapters, bolts... weight?

We are still going through the R&D stages of this. We plan to use either.. Stock GT-3 rotors, cup rotors, cayanne rotors or if the urge strikes you, Alcon rotors w/ aluminum hats (pricy). There will be some small hardware and machining of the calipers will be required.

All of the ex Koni cars came with 17in wheels. Im desperatley trying to find a better then stock set up that will work within them. I have 4 sets of wheels and 8 sets of tires and Im not about to sell all that to go to 18s. Any thoughts on this???

I have 17"s on a Koni car and my Fronts are 12.75" Diameter Slotted Rotors with Floating hats. Still not enought seat-time to give a proper opinion on this set-up... But it seams good!

996 C2 to GT3 FRONT Brake Upgrade Kit AVAILABLE (finally)
The GT3 Front Brake bolt-on kit is finally available and was mounted to my Koni car (well, now ex-car but still in the family) last week. WOW!
Kit include all adaptors and new machined FRONT GT3 calipers. In other words, stock 996 FRONT uprights with GT3 brakes using any type of GT3 rotor and any type of GT3 brake pad.
If you are interested, contact por29 in regards.
Here are some pics of the install.
