Might be an alternator issue. I just went through this with the GT3. I've got an unused remanufactured 996 alternator available at a very good price if you need one.

it's fully stock......I'm taking it in tomorrow. The service guy mentioned it may be an alternator problem when I spoke to him to set up the appointment. Again, my wife "thinks" she may have left a rv mirror light on it.

BTW, what shud I expect to pay for a alternator replacement at a Porsche dealer/shop?
