it is a great car.
i would recommend the short shifter kit (with transmission spacers)
then get some drivers ed time in. I have my car 8 weeks, and 2 days at watkins glen really showed me whtat it is made of. brakes stop on a dime and give you change and there gets to be here quickly over 5500 rpm. cant do that on the street
finally, once you get used to it, a set of PSS10s should be in your future. stock suspension moves around too much (try a few on/off ramp cloverleaves will show you fast.
but a great car, and best of luck!!!!
ROY
Thanks for the advice, I have had the car awhile but it was winter and didnt drive it much. This is a fast car and it does handle well, but it would be nice to really put it to the test on the track and have more fun. Thanks again Halvin

Hey I have to say that's a sharp looking 996. And yes that's coming from a 997S owner. Love the style with the tinted windows, especially the wheels. She's a looker. Keep her fresh and enjoy the drive.
Welcome to the mistique of 911 ownership.

Jay
