They're 315/25ZR-19. Current tires are the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's. I was going thru the receipts and noticed that the cost for these tires were $548 ea. (at Discount Tire!). So, I guess I can officially put the car back up for sale, now!!! Ouch
They only have about 50-60% left, I'll be a hittin' the tire threads!!

Short story - Remember the Giles Porsche dealership? I was buying a MB 450SL from my brother-in-law, and we were riding around and spotted a black 928on the "drive-up" showcase ramp in front of the dealership. We pulled in and I was admiring it....about 3 weeks later, he and sis show up at a family function in that car!!! That eventually became my 4th Porsche and my first 928. It was an '82 model (....with a 5-speed, Phil ). I think I got it in'88?
BTW, back then did everyone in Lafayette own a BMW!!!! They were everywhere!

Congrat, the car looks great. Somehow those wheels really make the whole car pop.
(Let me know if you decide to sell them, ha.)
The suspension looks good for stock, already pretty tight.
Enjoy!

Another Silver/Black Tiptronic 4S here!
I love the tip, especially in traffic.
Oh, don't try to shift into neutral and rev the engine while the car is moving, I've heard that's bad....

Hey Michael, know the area all too well. My sister went to USL and still lives in the area (Carencro).

You may not want them. Seems the tire choices are very slim for the size needed. I recall the PO telling me he put the 315's on, because he couldn't locate 305's. The rear wheel is 11.5 wide.
Is there a reason this size is somewhat limited to choices/availability?

Welcome aboard and to the Big Butt club.
it is a great car.
i would recommend the short shifter kit (with transmission spacers)
then get some drivers ed time in. I have my car 8 weeks, and 2 days at watkins glen really showed me whtat it is made of. brakes stop on a dime and give you change and there gets to be here quickly over 5500 rpm. cant do that on the street
finally, once you get used to it, a set of PSS10s should be in your future. stock suspension moves around too much (try a few on/off ramp cloverleaves will show you fast.
but a great car, and best of luck!!!!
