Question RUF Wheels/Tire Size Confirmation

Hey folks,

Pardon my ignorance in advance. There's a gentleman who is selling 19" RUF wheels that I'm considering for my 2002 996 4S widebody. The specs on the wheels are as follows:

Front: 19x8.5, 55 offset
Rear: 19x11, 67 offset

He indicates that the tire size for these wheels are as follows:

Front: 235/30/19
Rear: 315/25/19

I went on tirerack.com to find a set of tires in those sizes and could not come up with any matching sets. He indicated that Toyo makes the correct size but I couldn't find any. He also said I could run 305/25/19 on the rears but I had no luck in finding these either.

Can anyone tell/recommend to me what size tires would fit on these RUF wheels? Attached are pictures that he sent me of the wheels mounted on a 996 TT.

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

these are essentially 997NB offsets... though those offsets are not optimal for your 4s. Those wheel offsets will fit a 996NB. Weird that it looks great on the TT... is he using spacers?

As for tire size you can put on 295/30-19... 305/25-19 are very rare (alot of manufacturers have dropped that size)... 315/25 are another option but its a heavy tire.

Red, what is the stock offset for a 10" rear wheel for a wide body car? I can't recall what it is.

I agree with the 295 suggestion.

I have the same size wheels. USE 235/35 and 315/25 anything else is too small on the wheels.

All the right heights and ratios.

Do you have them on a 996 WB?

Thanks. I knew the offset was sub 50mm but didn't know the width was 11" for the rear WB cars.
