In the middle of the night you will get up and for no reason go into the garage and sit in your car with your pajamas on. We've all been there and done that.

Wow, thanks. Do those little silver covers on the headlights pop up or something? I've been driving it so much I haven't even read the manual. Its funny, I don't even know how to use the washers for headlights. I see the little pic on the stalk.

Yes, they will pop up, but you need to have the headlights ON and then you push the right stalk toward the front of the car (IIRC). However, the chrome disks have a tendency to fly off at high speed, so most guys don't use the headlight washers.

Funny, he owes me one chrome disk, must have flown off as you stated. It was missing when I bought the car.

Great looking P-car! Gotta love GR. Spotless.

To be honest, I don't even know if my washers work. I can't bare to think of all the crap running up my fenders as I press the stick forward. Washer fluid would run all up the fenders, hood and doors. If mine don't work...so be it. I'll never know. I have thought about doing it just before I wash her, but always forget. If I actually hit anything large enough to splatter all over the lights and it needs to be washed off, I'm quite certain my tears will wash away the residue.

Great looking car and enjoy it. My take on the headlight washers is simple: If you do not like those chrome thingy-dingys, flip the headlight washer stalk forward and off they'll fly! Simple, really - I've lost one on each side (suncoast has replacements).

Just don't use them at speed on the highway and you should be fine.
