How much brake fluid to flush system and clutch?
Like the title says: How much brake fluid will I need to flush the braking system and bleed the clutch at the same time?
Thanks
PS: I tried the search feature and as always it was a complete failure. :/

You can do it in less than 1L, I probably use 1L for a really good flush, but keep more on hand just in case. Brake fluid is relatively cheap compared to having to stop everything and figure out where you're going to get more. I usually use the ATE blue/gold alternating and buy 1/2 case of each.

The first time I did it I used more than 1 L because I wasn't sure what I was doing (I think I used 2 L). Once you get the hang of it, 1 L should be fine. It helps if the new fluid is a different color than the old fluid so you can tell exactly when the line is flushed.
Unopened brake fluid can be kept on the shelf for a few years, but once the seal is opened you don't want to keep it more than a few months because it will start absorbing moisture from the air.
