Thank you guys!
I will give it another try with him tomorrow and then I'll look for another Porsche specialist.
He does work on Porsche's. He is not a Porsche-only shop though and I guess he doesn't have that much experience.
Could anyone confirm that the fuel tank actually does not have any valve installed inside it, which cannot be replaced indepentently from the tank (or not)?
Also, would anyone have in mind any illustrated instructions of the fuel tank valve replacement?
Thanks again!!

To the OP: In case you don't know it, 99firehawk is extremely knowledgable about Porsches.

Thank you again guys!!
Right now the car has very little fuel in it (app. 20 miles range), so I have to know where else to take it and I don't yet. So this adds to the problem of taking it to another shop.

First decide on which Porsche EXPERT you intend on bringing your car to have it repaired. Then, if you can't get any more fuel into it, have it towed. It's better than making your decision based on the proximity of a repair shop. And a LOT cheaper than paying for a new gas tank you probably don't need.

I found a way to put a gas into the car today (by holding the gas nozzle upside down and pouring little by little) and took the car from that mechanic.
So now that I bought myself some time, I will look for a specialist to get it fixed.
Thanks for all your help guys!!
