Default Gauge rings Aluminum or Carbon Fibre?

I see some of each with aluminum currently in the lead. Thoughts?

I have never seen carbon fiber rings, but I personally like the the aluminum because they contrast the stock gauge housing which is black. I would think that the carbon rings would be much less noticeable.

Aluminum pedals so far, no gauge rings, door sils etc. just yet. I have to admit though, I kinda like the CF look.....

Where are you getting them from? How much and how are they secured? I like the Aluminum.

I would guess that the carbon fibre rings would disappear a bit, while the aluminum rings really pop. Depends what you're looking for.

I really like CF, but +1, I think that they wouldn't be noticed... I'm planning on a mix of CF and exterior paint (Arctic Silver - it might end up looking like aluminum) in my cabin and would likely go Al for the trim rings...

If your interior trim is CF (or you want to do all CF interior trim) then by all means get the CF gauge trim, otherwise the aluminium is a nice match for the alumalook trim on the rest of he dash.

^^^ I agree with what he said. I also have the aluminum rings on black dash and it stands out well.
