I can answer that one! What is involved is $15K!!!!

According to the Suncoast web site they would only fit the C4S 2002 - 2004 model years.

Suncoast Prices
PCCB Front Rotors.......... $7,856.30
PCCB Rear Rotors........... $6,990.00
PCCB Front Brake Pad Set.. $278.00
PCCB Rear Brake Pad Set... $279.90
Total............................. $15,404.20

Does anyone know if BMW wheel "pins" will fit a 996? The benefit of those is that they just slide into the rotors (rather than having to be threaded in), so they're a bit quicker to get in and out. Sorry, but I should have experimented with one when I still had a BMW.

My Rennlist membership just paid for itself again - well I'll be switched. Never knew I had one of these- sure will come in handy in a couple weeks when I swap wheels for the summer!

Sadly, those are just some of the replacement parts. (The only way to really afford PCCBs is to order them in the first place).

There are also significant difference internally as I understand it. Bearings are different, etc.

Use the wheel hangers,--and save your back!

wheel hanger. wow, i feel dumb. never bothered to look. wasn't easy doing all those wheel changes for autox this past year. now my wife can have another job besides putting on magnets when we autox...putting the wheel hanger on. btw, has anyone actually bent or damaged the aluminum one? is the ultimate garage stainless steel one worth it for someone like me that changes wheels alot?

You should try these "wheel hangers." They work much better than the single aluminum one.

I would always recommend the aluminum wheel hangers over steel or brass. You want something softer than your wheels. The aluminums do the least damage to the paint on your rims. Always use two if you can--makes life so much easier. For the PCCB brake cars Porsche AG recommends that you use two hangers.

Seriously?

1) I don't think those even fit Honda.
2) Are you poking Tim? I've heard Ed say he's a stud with a Honda.
3) Go to the track and change your tires for a season without them.

Never knew I had a wheel hanger in my car. Ha, maybe I'll actually look forward to changing my wheels out next time. Thanks to all!

I saw them at Griot's Garage and bought one. THEN I opened my tool kit looking for the lug key and found the aluminum one Porsche included with the car. Oh well, now I have a spare.
