Other obsessions/hobbies in addition to your Pcar

I love taking road trips...the only problem is that while I love just getting in the car and seeing where I wind up, the navigator in my family (wifely-unit) who also like road trips wants a pre-planned destination. She's just not a spontaneous type...
In the meantime, my other obsessions are movie posters...and (at the risk of receiving massive amounts of ridicule) I've got a few watches...

I would love to see pictures of the radio controlled helicopters and planes. Are the helicopters difficult to fly?

Styrofoam Spitfire (top of the tail was missing in these pic...)
Bristol Scout (this one has been retired to the garage ceiling):
Last year I got into micro electric helis... the one I got, with the 2 coaxial rotors, is not that difficult to fly - but it certainly does take a bit of practice and dedication. I feel I'm about ready to move up to a single rotor (conventional style) model.

Waddya Do? Flite Instructor (hobby not a profession) and flew a Cirrus 22 today for the first time today...pretty cool plane w/a "glass cockpit" which is totally new to me. Hell, I don't even know how to post pics on this here innernet, and there I was shooting on final....70 knts and having trouble finding the little box for airspeed and another for altitude, in a strange (to me) aeroplane. Cool. Kind of watching that guy here with the Maserati...and feeling the urge. I guess I am a clean and polish guy. Also, I can't help but get a twinge when I see RF5Bpilot's glider....no motor, danceing in the sky, quiet, I don't know but....I feel the need. (I say that and I just yanked my mufflers off to make them louder and more aggressive...Is this bi polar?)

I hope the weather starts to improve so we can take him up on the offer, looks like a blast! - My father is an instructor in small planes and I have 1000's of hours riding and several 100 flying but never been in a glider... looks awesome!
This has been a great place to make new friends and expand our horizons (pun intended)
