Skiing, fly fishing, watches (I have a particular thing for Omega watches... not sure why, they are just my favorite), guitars.

All of these things come after my family... I tend to get into whatever my boys are interested in. This explains why I have been playing the PS3 quite a bit lately...

FPS (First Person Shooter for you older guys not in the know) Gamer. I'm also an avid autocrosser and like to attend DE's when budget allows.

I used to offroad almost every weekend in college with my old jeep but time and budget don't allow me to have 2 car obsessions/hobbies. LOL

Lol - yeah, of course!

Funny thing though... I'm as "guarded" disclosing these hobbies as I am disclosing that I have a p-car... I don't want to get labeled "macho" because I have fun doing these kinds of things any more than I want to be labeled as "rich" because I finally have my dream car; both of which are highly inaccurate, if not incomplete adjectives... and it's interesting how you end up compartmentalizing your life so these pieces of your life stay segregated... for example, none of my martial arts friends know or care about the football thing, anymore than the softball people know or care about the martial arts stuff, or the martial arts guys about my p-car... I guess that's okay, otherwise we'd all be a string of adjectives; teenage mutant ninja turtles... or middle-aged, self-indulgent, naively-in-denial, german-car obsessed nutjobs... (hey, I represent that remark!)

It's all good!

Sailing, and because "High Spirits," is 28 years old, a lot of maintainence with this particular obsession.

Wow Red - truly impressive! I used to think I was capable of "roughing it" (sounds like you've taken it to a whole new level), spending time on research ships at-sea, but these days roughing it means staying at a hotel without room service... Your travels fall under the category of "Nice to know someone that has"... because I'm the kinda guy that would much rather read about it...

Eric,

It's been awhile since I've skied... but if I remember correctly, most places can give you a ride to the top...
