Oil painting, woodworking, metalworking, building anything in general, archery, edged weapons of almost any kind, generally up to no good.

...well...except when I'm making things for a local hospital to auction off. Zebrawood with gold plated hardware - rollerballs and fountain pens.

Part of a painting I'm working on:

Give me a bow and I'll always find a way to have some fun. Aluminum arrows don't split like the wooden ones in the movies.

Cheers,

Thank you guys for participating in this thread. I was thinking that we probably lead different lives the other day and share this one common passion for a car that has the engine and fuel tank in the wrong place.

It is wonderful that we are able to share our differences as well.

+1... Some measure of comfort knowing that our particular shared pathology isn't limited to a particular demographic... it could happen to anyone... or could it???

Fun thread!

I'm clearly not as active as most of the crowd... my hobbies (other than racing porsches) are beer brewing, radio controlled helicopters and airplanes, bee keeping, photography, and a little astronomy.

Default A little late to the party...

I love taking road trips...the only problem is that while I love just getting in the car and seeing where I wind up, the navigator in my family (wifely-unit) who also like road trips wants a pre-planned destination. She's just not a spontaneous type...

In the meantime, my other obsessions are movie posters...and (at the risk of receiving massive amounts of ridicule) I've got a few watches...
