Default Fikse 18" FM-10 for stock 02-04 18" MY02 rims

Not sure what the response will be but is there any body interested in a trade? The FM10s I have are in good condition but can work out a deal depending on the shape of the MY02.

Hope I don't get penalized for cross forum shopping .

That's a great trade for Carrera 5 spokes. I wish I still had mine to trade.

For those thast don't know he's offering to trade a very light and strong high quality forged wheel.

ok, the wheel came with the car I bought 3 months ago. The previous owner installed them when he had it for 6 years, so we can assume it is not older than 6 years.
The tires on them are are 245 35/18 fronts and 285 30/18 rears. I have lower suspension and they fit my 993 without and spacers or any rubbing.
I think the spec. 18" wheels for a 993 are 45 front and 65 rear offsets. These may be close to 50 front and 50 rear. I can call Fikse to find out.
The fronts are in excellent condition and both rears have curb rash. Attached is a picture of a front and rear rim.
Please PM me if you are considering a swap and we can exchange higher quality pictures.
As Ray S said, these are great track wheels. I am looking to swap for equal or better condition MY02s with 45 and 65 offsets.

Alcanada,

Just so you know the stock 18" wheels from the '02 - '04 will have the following specs:

Front 8" x 18" et 50mm (you won't find an 8" OEM wheel with 45mm offset)
Rear 10" x 18" et 65mm

gota 911, thank you for the correction. 50 and 65 mm offsets will work. The spec offsets for a NB 993 is 52 and 65mm.

Swap done thanks to Mike. I am happy with the new rims on the 993 and I hope Mike is happy with the FM10’s. Also had the opportunity to meet his wife at the shop. Great couple. Mike was a fantastic guy to deal with .

Thank you.

Alcanada,

You don't get off THAT easy! Every modification to a car that changes the apperance MUST be documented by a few pics. Hey, I don't make this stuff up, it's a Rennlist rule. Ask the other guys.

Mike (Zose) the same goes for you too!

Guys, I got a "double dipper!"

Well I first want to say thanks to Anthony (alcanada) he was a complete pleasure to deal with and just a nice guy all around. Everything was exactly as described and it was nice to get to meet him and talk cars and hang out in a dealership for a while. I must say, the 5 spoke wheels off my car look just perfect on his polar silver 993 and I couldn't be happier with the fikse's. So without further ado...here's a couple of pics of my car with my new wheels.
These are just some quick and dirty shots...

Guys, your've got to be kidding, I didn't know there is such a rule.... althought I guess it's only fair since you guys did help us out.

Mike beat me to it with his pics. but I will get you some pics on Thursday since I will be away all day tomorrow.

There's too much good stuff here to be banned!

Anthony
