Piloti Driving Shoes - Regularly $90 - Now $29.97

The Piloti's are decent for autocross/casual driving. Any track use (which lately has only been w2w) I use the race boots/shoes, unless I'm lazy, then I use whatever I was wearing at the time..

You should read this before buying at that store:

I have the Prototipos in blue but paid full price from another seller. Reading the comments in your link, it's just totally amazing how there can be such a huge difference in the experience of previous customers. There are enough that have had problems that I won't take a chance giving them my cc number. Thanks for checking.

I ordered a pair of Piloti Prototipo size 10 last night, had confirmation last night, and rec'd confirmation that they shipped today. Shipping was $8.49.
I'll post when/if they arrive.

Plenty on EBAY and through online shoe outlets - I get mine from a local Puma Outlet store in Carlsbad.
Puma Online Direct Here: http://puma.subesports.com/products/...UMA/prodID/952
Liked 'em so much I went back and got a second pair!
they do some with Motorsport specific branding, i.e. BMW and Ferrari, but no Porsche ones yet.
They do shoes that range from the 'street' models I wear - through to full FIA approved driving shoes for track use.

Tim,
When driving a giant weiner it is important to have excellent "purchase," or traction. Some guys will go barefoot, but I find that Simpson Racing shoes help my toes grip when my weiner is pushing hard down the straights. Simpson Racing shoes also offer good ankle support, though this feature is only useful when actually talking about racing.
