Default Headlight Washer Covers

Driving home from the track on Saturday I accidentally pushed the wiper stalk forward, engaging the headlight washers. To my knowledge, I've never used them before. The chrome covers proceeded to come flying off back at my windshield. Fortunately no harm done other than me muttering WTF? After looking at them, it appears it's a simple matter of getting two new ones and popping them back into place.

Before ordering from trusty Sunset, I just wanted to ping the board and see if anyone has had a similar experience and make sure my diagnosis is correct. Thanks in advance.

lol. I did the same thing on my MY00. I don't have the little silver caps, but my nozzle shot up and hit the windshield. I had a WTF moment, check the prices and decided that for $200, i didn't need the washer. Especially since I only used it once before - on accident - and the second time I accidentally used it, it broke

I have the same issue on my MY00, best price I can find is around $220 for the pair. Maybe this year I will get around to it, but the MY02+ ones are around $30/ea which is much easier to stomach...

Patrick, stick around here a little longer and we'll teach you all of the technical jargon. Next week's lesson: How to tell the difference between a what-cha-ma-jigger and a what-cha-ma-call-it

I picked mine up from sunset. Remember that left and right parts are different numbers and fitments (on 02+ at least), be certain to order the correct one specifying driver's or passenger's side! Easy to replace!
