Why would you need customer support for your iPhone? I think in all the years that I have owned Macs, iBooks, iPods, iPhones, etc, etc, etc, I have had to call customer support maybe once or twice. Is it AT&T that you are having problems with?

Sweet - now someone with photoshop skills should show what it would look like to embed an iPod (like the one in picture #2 in the surface so that you wouldn't have to pick it up to navigate the tunes.

NO Dell, I have a gen 1 with aluminum back, the one with all the battery issues, and mine had them, now im stuck with a refurbished.... not happy. They tell you AFTER the fact you do not get your phone back, now I have someone elses problems when all the dude needed was his battery back.
LOL, not that im bitter. Anyway I havent been tech savvy to add the iphone/ipod to my traffic pro, like OP i would want it semi perm installed, perhaps a dock intalled in the holder so it sat upright and looked a little nicer.

Hmmm, I wasn't aware of the Gen1 issues. I have 2 Gen1 iPhones (1 for me and 1 for the wife) and have had them since they came out with no errors to report. Sorry you got a crappy one.
I did know that you don't get your original unit back though. At least with the iPod I knew that. When your battery dies, you send in yours for "replacement" and in turn you get a refurb unit. I only found out about that when I read that you must back up ALL your music and make sure it is current with iTunes since it will need to be reloaded on the new one.

Just found this post and have a question: My 2003 Targa has Granite Grey interior, but when I check the Suncoast product info (link: http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...Code=POTE996IN), they specify the part in Black for MY 2000+ and Granite Grey for '97-'99.
I'm pretty sure the console is the same for Mk I and Mk II 996's, is the anything I'm missing or can I buy the '97 - '99 Granite Grey part for my '03 Targa? I'd like it to match my interior but I'd prefer it to fit!
Thanks.
