Default Cylinder# Identification, Firing Order

Did several searches, but could not find anything that specifically states how the cylinders are numbered on my 1999 996. I have a misfire code on #5 and have a coil pack in hand to replace it, but don't know which cylinder it is physically on the car. I believe from inferring from a response I saw on a different thread that the cylinder clocking goes as:

#1 is Drivers side, at the back of the car (i.e. front of the engine itself). #2 and #3 are also on Driver's side.

#4 is Passenger, rear of car, front of engine, #5 and #6 are on Passenger side (which means that the one I am interested in for THIS exercise is the middle one on the passenger side.

Can someone confirm this as correct, or provide the correct information if this is NOT correct?

Firing order might be a good thing to archive on this thread as well.

Thanks,
Mark
