Default Sad news and Good news

Guys. last Saturday I finalized a deal on a 2002 996TT at my local Porsche Dealer. The car is insane! only has 23k miles and it has CPO (2yrs). The sad note is that I traded my 02 996 and I already miss her, that car was so wonderful. I did my 1st DE on that car and ran more than 50 Autoxs in the last 3 years with her. I had no issues at all with the car, nothing ever broke. This morning I found an email stating that I have won this year's PCA autox championship at my region with my old 996. I almost got tears in my eyes she was my 1st 911, she will never be forgotten.
Here are pics of my old 996 and the "new" 996TT

Congrats!

I think you'll beat me now in the BMW CCA Events with that beast. Can't wait to hear your impressions and contrast compared to your old car.

Thanks for your comments!
Pete, I dont know if I will be able to beat you, I have only put like 50miles on the TT and cant speak about the handling yet, she feels so more planted/solid than the C2, I am asuming she's gonna understeer a lot. we will see in a few months..

Good for you . Will you continue to autox with the Turbo? So both Porsches are 02', did you stick with that year because your 'old' 02' never gave you any problems? GL

I know the feeling....I had a 1985 carerra (I kept for 15 years and 133,000 GLORIOUS MILES) that I traded for my 996.......I felt guilty, ashamed, like a traitor....and felt worse when I would ride by the dealership and see it sitting on the used car lot, out in the cold and rainy weather.................................excuse me while I go get a tissue box....
