Part Number Please
When I bought my 996, it needed a new windshield as it had been damaged by a rock on a prior test drive. The dealer paid to have the windshield replaced and all is well. In the process of replacement, which I do not recommend watching, bits of glass fell into the area surrounding the battery. Today I pulled the plastic shrouds off the area to vacuum out the left over glass and any leaves, etc, and noticed that the top of the cabin filter assembly is missing.
Does anyone have the part number for the top of the cabin filter assembly?

Andy, are you talking about the large plastic piece that is held down by a torx screw? Looks like part #10 but on the other side? FYI...there is no cover over the particle filter.

Hey Dell, Thanks for the info. Looks like I'm not missing anything. There's a clip on the end of item number 1 (housing) in the picture from Chris that looks like it would accept a cover of some sort. The clip doesn't seem to grab the filter very well, so I suspected something was missing. It seems odd that the filter would be wide open like that.
