Default 996 19" wheels.

Has anyone installed 19" rims on their cars? I am looking at doing this sometime in the near future. What I am thinking of is 265 front and 315 back. I have already tried this set up with 18" rims, the tires that I use for track events for my 997S. The wider tires really stand out on the 996 due to the narrow body vs the 997S.

Might be tough to go that wide - I have 235/35 and 295/30 on 19" Champion RG5.

67 offset on 315's no problem but 265 on fronts never tried.

235/35/19 and 315/25/19 on my 19" Lobster Claws

15mm spacers on the front to fill out the arches.

I think the only way you can get away with those tire sizes is to leave the car set at Cayenne ride height like the car above

I had 315/25 rear and 235/35 fronts. I had issues with bent rims and uneven tread wear on the rear tires etc.
Now back to stock for the time being...but this is how it looked when I had those wheels on.

You have a 4S. That's an appropriate tire wheel size for your car. The bent rims were due to either your driving conditions (craters in the road) or cheap wheels (they look good to me). Uneven rear tire wear is normal on these cars. If aligned properly, you'll burn up the inside edge in no time due to the camber settings.

There's a couple of GT3 and 996 guys that have run 265's in the front....BUT you need custom offset wheels to make it work. Even then it's probably not an ideal street setup as you'll likely get rubbing at full lock unless the car is really high on ride height.

245's and maybe 255's are much easier to fit at the front.

I rub with 19's and 235's up front at full lock. My car is lowered though.

I got 8000 miles before the inside tread of my right rear gave out. Is that normal?
The wheels are Iforged Essen's btw.

You need your eyes testing, that's a Land Rover, not a Cayenne POS!
