I am planning to drop the engine this weekend. I have good instructions but they assume the car is on a workshop lift. All I have are 4 heavy duty jackstands that will go up 2ft.

Will I get enough clearance underneath the car to actually remove the engine-tranny combo?

I did a trans drop with 17" stands. I think 24" may not be enough - maybe removing the rear bumper? let us know what you needed. Merry Xmas!
