Anyone ever seen these tail pipes fitted?
I've always found the OEM Porsche Tequipement dual tips look kinda fake (both tips lead into one tube).
Found these while trawling through the Net and find myself quite tempted. They look a lot more genuine. Has anyone ever seen them fitted to an actual car, or better still taken a photo of a pair?
Thanks.

These tail pipes were my favorite to be fitted in my C2.
FVD have them too. I finally was given a 997 double round tail pipes and adapted to my rear bumper.
I don't remember where I saw any pic with them but I can tell you they look awesome

If anyone has a photo, I'd love to take a look.
Thanks and happy holidays to all.

I've felt the same about that obvious two-tip to one tube look. That's one of the things that stopped me from replacing the OEM ovals. One other thing that stopped me from getting these other tips in the past was that the end of the exhaust pipe is very short then leads up to another short elbow. To replace the tips for a truer double end look, it seems like you have to cut and refashion the OEM pipes. Am I wrong?

Those tips are made by Dansk, they are part # 96.912S here is a link to the Dansk U.S. website...

Although I don't have pictures on a car, here is a larger, more detailed shot.
We have them in stock.
Thanks,
Rhonda

In this context, when someone gives someone else a "tip" that means they get a lead on how to do something or an idea of how something might work. In you case, you told him that those exhause "tips" look awesome.
Since you gave him the "tip" (confirmed) that they looked good and the topic was exhaust "tips", he made a joke about "tips"...... same word but two different meanings.
Hope this helps!

Fly996,
Great shots of the tips! I have a customer who also powdercoated his tips black but I haven't seen any pic's on a car. Thanks for sharing the pics...
By the way, in the second picture it almost looks like there is a pin striped red line seperating the black on the top of the wing from the artic silver underneath, also on the mirrors and the roof spoiler. Cool effect, Great Car.

Jon996,
I will check with a few more of our vendors in Germany. I know that we carry these for sure.....
I am going to get a better picture for you guys. Don't know about you but the Techart Style Tip is a little played out in my opinion. So I will dig a little deeper.
Thanks,
Rhonda
