baby seat in my 996

Ready to buy a 996 and want to know if a baby seat fits in the back seat? Is their a special seat required?

Suggestions appreciated. thanks

No special requirements. I have extensively used a rear facing (when baby is < 1 year/ 20lbs) and a front facing seat in the back.

Search for more info. There are easily 20+ threads that discuss this.

BTW, I have a Coupe

Yeah, a coupe gives you more room because of the cab's tighter rear seats.

The kids will love the Porsche more than the wife, I guarantee it. :)

That would be a tough call in my house. I think we all love it equally...

There are many threads on this topic, but a few quick hits:
- Remove the rear seats altogether (only takes about 10 min), it provides more room, and your passenger will appreciate it.
- Not all seats work, I used a Britax Roundabout with the base removed.
- The back rest on the cab is more upright than a coupe, so less room.

There are a few other places where you can put your kids, in case you didn't know...

You could put them on the hood

Or these Eddie Bauer seats fit fine, I removed the bottom cushion.
