OT: tip for you:
Originally, I had also removed the cushion, but reinstalled after thinking
that the little one could benefit from the extra cushioning. After all the suspension is already harsh and sporty.
As for space, no difference (only minimally the back, but I ended up keeping those on too)
Just more comfortable for the little ones with cushions on.

With the cab, the rear seats are a bit more more vertical than the coupe, so in my case, seat removal was really needed to fit the child seat properly, and also keep the passenger seat usable for the wife. I also wanted to keep the child seat low for top down driving.
