Stick.

Tip maybe for a turbo, but not normally aspirated engines.

Definitely PDK on a new Carrera S.

A stick means you have that third pedal, right next to the one that stops the car, right?

I do have a question that is kind of on-topic. I asked it before, but was not very clear in my question and recieved an overly technical reply. I have never driven a tip or a PDK. What is the difference in feel between the tip shifting in manual mode or the PDK? (Other than the obvious steering wheel paddles)

Jon,

I have not driven either a Tip or a PDK equipped car. There are a few threads on the 997 Forum that talk about individual experiences with the PDK.

Mdrums, who lost his left leg in a motorcycle accident about 5 years ago, had a 997 with Tip (either '05 or '06) and now owns a '09 (997.5) with PDK. He has made a few comments on the relativity of Tip vs. PDK.

You really cannot compare the two. As for the"feel" PDK gives you the same sensation as if you were driving a manual tyanny car. At low speeds you will feel the clutch slipping and compensating for engine speeds. Just as you would modulate a clutch in a manual car, best wat to describe the feel would be to call in very analog and human like. As for the tippy imagine driving any automatic vehicle and using the lever to shift down from your overdrive or "D" position down to a lower gear or the reverse.
