I went tip... mostly because I secretly wanted to use it as a DD (I told my wife a couple of days a week and weekends) and rush hour traffic can get a little hairy sometimes (my left leg is still an inch larger than my right one after having to drive my wife's Miata in rush hour traffic so many years ago)... While I was in the shopping stages an overly aggressive salesman tried coerce me into going stick by questioning my masculinity... but I outweighed the guy by 100 lbs so it really didn't work... I'm good with my choice and when I want to play with the gears the tip works just fine...

Always had stick fun cars but drove a tip and loved it. If resale is a concern the answer is obvious.

Stick. My 911 is not a daily so I don't get too annoyed when I drive it to work. Now if I had to drive 2 hours in stop and go and it's my daily, maybe my answer would be different. But in a sports car, I prefer to change gears myself.

For the record I use my automatic Grand Cherokee for commuting most days.

I would need a knee replacement if I drove a stick because being 6'3" I couldn't shift without hitting my knee on the wheel.

I didn't own an automatic transmission car until my thirties....stick just seems natural to me and involves me in the driving experience in ways an automatic doesn't. Yet, for regular heavy traffic or a car that I might lend to guests--only an automatic makes sense.

This poll is like asking if you're a female or a male.
It seems there are way more female 996 owners out there than we realize.

p.s. For the "sensitive" tip owners, I'm joking.
