You should trade the wing for MKI or MKII side skirts depending if you are going to go OEM or after market on the rear wing.

He will not need front down force to balance it. I believe he is doing it for looks. Plus, respectfully that car does not have enough power to need corrective aerodynamics in the front. If its angle of attack is not lower than 10 degrees off 0 it will be just fine.

I guess a few bags of sand in the front boot would work just as well.

But in all seriousness, how in the world do you know that he will be able to mount that wing with 0 tilt? He would need a custom decklid and struts. Further, he would be increasing the rear downforce without reducing lift in front. If the front is already "light" then it will be even more "light" after this little project. The two big things I would do if mounting that wing would be to correct the ride height and rake on the car and install at the minimum a splitter up front to reduce aero lift.

...To the OP, I think you would be better served with first adding the rest of the aero package starting first with the side skirts then a wing that is more appropriate.

there have been several people suggest side skirts... what it the "aero" benefit to those or is that just 95% looks? As far as the wing goes.... I am going to offer it for sale, so anyone have price ideas, I would like to know.
I also agree ride height = first...
this wing just fell out of the sky at me, but isnt right for me or my car

Thanks for the great imput

There is minimal aero benefit to the skirts on our cars. But it completes the look of the complete aero package so the car does not look out of balance.

Nice that the wing fell into your lap but a shame it isn't the right one. See if you can find another fall from the sky that is proper

There is someone selling a used set of PSS9s in the wheels and Tire section for $1200. I am sure you can negotiate it and do better as a tuner, Sharky, on 6 speed in SF is selling new ones for $1695.

I kinda like the retractable, fixed wing idea... maybe you can be the first to give us a DIY... it'll be a nice winter project
