The clock in my 03 C4S has not kept accurate time since I bought the car new. It's even worse since I replaced the battery. The local repairshop says I need to replace the entire circuit board on the dash to fix the clock. Cost=$1000. Any thoughts? I know I'm going to get a lot of joker responses. That's ok, I can take it.
mine always runs slow. On average about a couple of minutes ever week or so and then somehow it stops being off around 7-10 mins slow. go figure.
although now, in my clumsy cleaning routine, my california interior duster got snagged on the adjustment ***** and with two strokes, snapped both the adjustment ***** off, so now, I can't even adjust the clock.
didn't even think of looking at the manual. i assumed my local porsche mechanic (oldwick garage) would be on top of that. i'll take a look at the manual and let you know.
you would think that if you pay this kind of money for a car, that the damn clock would keep time.
it really drives me nuts. where is porsche buying the clock from? mexico?
yes, the joksters have arrived. i thought they just hung out on 6speed. oh well, i guess i'll buy one of those $5 stick-on clocks from e-bay and that'll take care of it. maybe they sell them in 14k gold for a few more bucks
