Clock
#16
The clock in my 03 C4S has not kept accurate time since I bought the car new. It's even worse since I replaced the battery. The local repairshop says I need to replace the entire circuit board on the dash to fix the clock. Cost=$1000. Any thoughts? I know I'm going to get a lot of joker responses. That's ok, I can take it.

clock
i'm not sure but i think their is a setting in the instrument cluster thru the pivis porsche tester that has the ability to set the time around the world according to zone you live in.. if it is set wrong the clock will keep time wrong. go to the local dealer and have the set it to -8 standard time zone, you will be fine... go luck..

Let me get this straight..... if you live ini a differant time zone, time can pass either slower or faster than other time zones..

Clock
Procedure to fix slow clock:
1) Leave door open on car so light stays on and battery drains overnight.
2) Next morning try to jump start dead battery using Porsche procedure in manual.
3) If car doesn't start, call AAA and let them charge battery.
4) Clock now keepsperfect time.

You want accurate time? That option is not yet available, like a no-sunroof coupe in North America. The Porsches I know of all keep approximate time. The clocks seems to always run a little slow. Fast car, slow clock, compromises...

I think a search of this issue will show many owners have expericenced the same problem. I have actually witnessed my clock go backwards by one minute upon start up! And that was without the flux capacitor installed
