Well, I just booked my flight for Saturday morning to go see the car. If all goes well, I should have it home by Sunday night.

The ppi was done by the Porsche dealer and came back clean except for a cracked coolant reservoir which they replaced.

Thanks again for all the input. I'll post again once I return.

Dot. Carmax is almost always a worse deal than what you could get from another negotiating dealer, especially in the current buyer's market.
