Do you mean that you have the US version, and go to retrofit with the Row?

Sorry about asking a bit dum questions, newbie that I am. I drove a fellow P-car owners 996 carrera 2 today. He has M030 sport suspension installed and his car felt so much better than my own car with original suspension. I have always thought that sport suspension makes a car tuff on the road but M030 was not like that. The feeling was much more "sucked to the road" -kind of a feeling, without being rough at all.
Like said I am a newbie and a total stranger when it comes to suspension things. I suppose there is a ton of suspension and sway bar choises out there.
The thing is that I would like my car behave like his but the problem is the curb that I have to cross every time I take my car out. I have an aero-kit installed and it is a bit tricky to go over without the cratchy sound from the front lip. For this reason, dropping my car lower is not an option for me. Well, maybe 1/3 of an inch lower would still be manageable.
Should I ditch my dreams about sport suspension because of this? Which sport suspension would be good for my car?

I have a saved search, but not many come up and the prices for used are hard to justify when new isn't too much more. Since I am "looking" I have an eye out for pss9 and maybe the X74 (though I have not researched that one much)
Anyhow... We all know the deals come up, and someone gets them... My turn can't be far behind!

That's exactly what I wanted to know. US M030 is stock on my car.
Ok, now that I know that...how do I make it even better?? Retro to ROW? upgrade to Billstein sport shocks?

Upgrade your car to European Sport Suspension (ROW M030)! Each kit will increase the suspension's firmness, and reduce bodyroll. Typically the front is lowered 20mm, and 10mm in the rear. These kits are made for a Carrera 996, 2002-2005, these will not fit a Carrera 4S or Turbo.
