Default FS: Set of OEM 5-spoke ultralight wheels

I am selling my OEM 5-spoke ultralight wheels from my '02 C4. They are in great shape and have been driven for ~25k mi. Minor curb rash that has been touched up. Front: 18x8, Rear: 18x10.

$1,350 plus shipping from CO for a fellow Rennlister before they go to eBay.

There doesn't appear to be much intererst from 996 owners for these wheels. Will these fit other P-car models?

I think some guys like them for the track because they are the lightest OEM wheels. I like them but they are really common, which is what makes them less desirable among 996 owners. I think they fix Boxters and 993's. Put them on the for sale section here and 6speed.

Offset is different. The rear wheels will stick out too far past the frnder.

I seem to recall reading a thread some time ago that was started by a guy looking to sell his 5 spokes. Another Rennlister commented that the 993, Boxster, and 928 guys are often interested.

Are you sure about that?

Skiracer,
Do you know the offsets of your wheels? If so, you should post. If the narrow body offsets work on your car (as we discussed), I don't understand why your offsets won't be fine on a narrow body. Maybe I'm thinking too simply.

I thought so. Maybe I lost track of which 996 variants are narrow bodies and which are wide bodies, but I thought the C2 cabs were all narrow body cars.

They came off a narrow body C4 cab. I believe the offsets are 50 and 65.

???? less common than twists though, sorry, they're way less common in the SF bay area anyway

Money is getting really tight. I don't think you will see a lot of people paying big prices for anything used right now. Everyone will start cutting out expenditures like a new set of wheels, and if they do they will be looking for deals. 1350 is on the high side for used wheels. All this is turning quickly. 993s are selling cheap all of a sudden. I think we may be in for some hard times. We;ve been on a roll for a long time now. Just my .02

My bad! I thought you had a C4S widebody. Yes, 50mm front and 65mm rear offset will work on a narrow body.

Sorry for the confusion. I'll shut up now!

I just bought a used set of these, and they are noticeably lighter than my turbo twists.

JC3D - what did you pay for yours? Is my pricing out of line?
