Default Door panel light

Hello all.
I know this is probably a stupid question and hopefully as a newbie I'm allowed at least one stupid question. Here goes: I have a 02 996 C4 Cab and was wondering how difficult it is to change the door panel light bulb? Do I need to take the whole panel off? Can I just pry the cover off with a screw driver? Are there instructions somewhere I can follow? Thanks in advance for your kind replies.

Richard

All you need is a small flat head screw driver to push in the clip in to remove. I forget which side, but if memory serves me right, pop out the 9:00 o'clock position on drivers door and 3 on passenger. Replaced my bulbs with LED's.

Oooo... I like that LED idea. They last longer and are much brighter. Where did you order from?

I did this recently only to find that there was no wire plugged into the light unit (that would explain why it wasn't working) and I assume that happened when the door was off last year to get some touch-up work done.

Anyone know how to easily get the inside panel off so that I can find that wire and reconnect it?
